Barossa to Bali Retreat – Terms & Conditions

1. Participation and Assumption of Risk
By registering for the Barossa to Bali Retreat, you acknowledge that your participation in all activities, including but not limited to physical exercise sessions, outdoor tours, and excursions, is entirely at your own risk. You agree to absolve Barossa Valley Personal Training (BVPT), its directors, staff, and affiliates from any and all public liability, injury, loss, or damages arising from your involvement in the retreat. You acknowledge that the staff and services offered at Hotel Komune are a separate entity to BVPT. Participation is voluntary, and it is your responsibility to ensure you are physically and medically fit for all activities. If your medical or health status changes throughout the retreat, impacting your ability to participate, please inform staff as soon as possible.

2. Inclusions
The retreat fee covers the following:

  • 7 nights’ accommodation from 10-17 August 2026 at Hotel Komune, Bali.

  • 3 main meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner), each with a non-alcoholic drink

  • All scheduled physical exercise activities

  • Access to optional outdoor tours as part of the retreat program

  • Airport transfers to and from the retreat venue

3. Exclusions
The following are NOT included in your retreat fee:

  • Airfares to and from Bali

  • Travel insurance (compulsory—must be arranged by each participant)

  • Alcoholic beverages

  • Food and snacks between main meals

  • Lunch on the designated excursion day

  • The Luwak coffee experience

  • Transport during free excursion time

  • Any other personal expenses or optional activities not expressly listed in the inclusions

4. Travel Insurance
All participants are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, cancellation, and personal liability for the duration of the retreat. Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure.

5. Changes and Cancellations
BVPT reserves the right to make changes to the retreat schedule, activities, or inclusions as necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.

6. Payment, Refund & Transfer Policy

  • The retreat fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • If you are unable to attend, your place may be transferred to another person by notifying BVPT in writing and providing all necessary details for the replacement participant.

  • As a last resort, and at BVPT’s discretion, you may be permitted to postpone your booking for up to one year only. This option is subject to availability and must be requested in writing prior to the retreat start date.

7. Personal Expenses and Room Charges
Any extra costs or personal expenses incurred throughout the retreat (including, but not limited to, additional meals, drinks, spa services, or other hotel amenities) will be charged directly to your room at Hotel Komune. You are solely responsible for settling these charges with the hotel prior to departure. BVPT is not involved in, nor responsible for, any personal debts or charges made to your room.

8. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly at all times. BVPT reserves the right to remove any participant from activities or the retreat if their behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or in violation of these terms.

9. Liability Waiver
By attending the retreat, you agree to release and hold harmless BVPT, its directors, staff, and affiliates from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from injury, loss, or damages sustained while participating in the retreat.

10. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of the retreat fee constitutes your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
